connect groups

Don't Do Life Alone!

The Connect Groups are small groups of 3-12 people who get together regularly in a convenient location to grow and have fun together. The goal is to apply the Bible to daily life, have a short time of prayer, and enjoy relationships. Big things happen in groups.

The next semester of Connect Groups kicks off THE WEEK OF JUNE 2, through JULY 7, 2024.

Better Together (women's Group)

It’s such a beautiful thing when women CONNECT and do life together! As women, we have so many day-to-day responsibilities that keep us on the go and finding the time to connect with other women can be a challenge. The purpose of this group is not only to carve out that much needed time TOGETHER, but also to support each other as we strive to get and stay focused on our most significant relationship, which is the one we have with God.

CINEMATIC TUESDAYS

Tuesdays just got a lot more exciting! Join us at a local theater in Pearland for movie nights all summer! Our first movie was Sight on June 3rd. We will decide on the movie for the following week while we're at the theater on Tuesdays to buy tickets and avoid online convenience fees. The movies will be around the 6:00-7:00 p.m. timeframe. For inquiries contact: Tabitha Brysch (832) 984-8359

Finding Joy - Study In Phillipians

We live in a time when many people don't seem to have much joy! The New Testament letter from the apostle Paul to the church in Philippi is a treasure of rich teaching that is very timely for us today. In Philippians, Paul gives us a powerful look at Jesus as he reminds us how to find joy even in tough circumstances. Once a month, we will also share a themed potluck dinner. You are welcome to come and grow with us!

FINDING TIME FOR ROMANCE

Marriage, a beautiful gift from God, requires intentional nurturing to keep its beauty and magic alive. The purpose of this group is to set the tone for married couples to spend quality time with each other: a time designated to talk, laugh, and just enjoy each other's presence.
The more intentional quality time spent with each other, the greater the chances of maintaining a thriving and fulfilling marriage. This group will meet once a month. Text or call for details of time and place.

heART OF FAITH

heART of Faith emphasizes the belief that art has the power to communicate the depths of one's faith, share spiritual experiences, and inspire others to connect with the Lord. It recognizes the role of artists as vessels for expressing our beliefs and exploring the mysteries of our God and faith through creative works.  Start date: Feb 17th. Monthly we will participate in some form of ART (theater show, exhibition, or making art) then we will meet weekly to discuss that art piece and our Faith. IRON SHARPENS IRON

The purpose of this group is to explore a deeper intimacy in our relationship with God. Faith prepares and strengthens us to overcome anything this life throws our way. And connecting with our fellow brothers can also give us the invaluable support and encouragement that we all need. Let's connect as guys to pray for and support each other, as we explore what it means to have the fear of God in our lives. This group will meet on Thursdays, at 7:00pm at The Connect Church location. The resource will be a book by John Bevere, entitled "The Awe of God," which can be found on Amazon.
